We have a new staff property claims opportunity now available with a stable insurance carrier in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas region. The focus of this position is properly handling homeowner property losses from inception to conclusion. You will oversee the entire claims process dealing with all property related losses. You will scope out damages, review estimates, work with contractors, attorneys, and other professionals ultimately to settle the loss.
Prefer 2 +years claims handling experience with a positive, professional, cooperative, and quality conscious service attitude. Ability to handle in-depth investigations, evaluate damages and negotiate settlements on property losses. Must have accurate and consistent decision making ability with above average written and oral communication skill. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Minimal overnight travel. n Strong computer skills preferred. Ability to work remotely.
Bachelor's degree preferred with additional industry education preferred.
Appropriate Texas claims license needed.
