We are seeking an experienced File Review/QC Manager to join the team of this rapidly growing independent adjusting company.. This position will report to the VP/Director of Claims. Ideally the candidate would have availability to work hybrid 1-2 weeks per month in the Irving, Texas office and remotely the remainder of the month. It would also require possible CAT work.
Duties and Responsibilities: The File Review/QC Manager will be responsible for duties that fall into the following categories: Claim Review Assignments o Management of File Review queue/status monitors o Assigning claims to team members in a timely manner o Focusing on maintaining/improving cycle times o Participating in reviews when necessary
Team Management o Ensuring acceptable turn times for Reviewers o Knowing skill set, strengths/weaknesses of each Reviewer o Effectively communicating with all reviewers daily
Reporting o Utilizing VCA and PowerBI for reporting needs o Providing bi-monthly reports to Accounting for Reviewer payouts o Developing reports requested by Executive Management
Staffing o Evaluating volume and adjusting staffing requirements as needed • Extremely important during CAT scenarios o Working with the Recruiting team to scale staff as needed o Hiring and maintaining roster of file reviewers
Training o Developing training for Reviewers based on carrier guidelines and updates o Presenting during meetings and webinars to reviewers and field adjusters o Quality reviews of existing File Reviewers
Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Requires at least 3-5 years’ experience in File Review/QC management role. Candidate must be extremely tech savvy, as well as proficient in Xactimate. Must possess excellent communication and management skills and have the ability to lead and mentor a team of file reviewers. Candidate must be detail oriented and highly self-motivated. Candidate must be proficient in collaboration and be able to develop process for collaboration when needed. Ideal candidate would be familiar with field QC and be able to play instrumental role in development of QC function. Based on business needs, candidate must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
